To facilitate a smooth and efficient working relationship, below are concise answers to some often-unclear questions and issues surrounding agreements, work and payments:

Contracts

• No work shall be done outside a contract that defines expectations, and provides a shared understanding of the work and consideration for that work
• A Non-disclosure agreement (NDA) clause is included in our standard contract. We welcome others to review and make suggestions to our NDA to reach a shared understanding and agreement on protecting proprietary and market-critical information

Compensation

• Compensation for work done shall be strictly dependent upon services provided and independent of secondary agreements between you and others
• A down-payment is required for all new projects, and it will amount to 25% of the total project cost, or 2-weeks worth of estimated work
• All invoices are due within 30 days of issue unless a shorter period is agreed upon in your contract. Reminders may be sent from time to time, but you are responsible for ensuring that invoices are paid on time. Overdue invoices will result in work stoppage and possible withdrawal of subscription services
• Until all consideration for work done is received, you cannot legally own the work-for-hire provided to you
