PhotoMetadata.org

The Library of Congress in collaboration with Stock Artists Alliance commissioned PhotoMETAdata as an effort to publicize the notion of metadata. iDonny Productions was awarded the contract to build a CMS driven website. The purpose of the website is to disseminate tutorials, event information and registration, and general reference materials on METAdata.

The implementation was targeted to meet the requirements set-forth by the client (SAA and LOC) and where necessary exceed these requirements and provide the flexibility to grow and transform the website to meet and reinforce the needs of the PhotMETAdata project.

iDonny Productions implemented and now provides technical support for photometadata.org - As required, the client has the tools and features to create, publish, and maintain reference and event supporting information using an intuitive workflow. The implemented Content Management Technology enables the client to run all the website management functions without the need to pay a specialized Webmaster on staff or as a consultant. This fact alone non-only enables the client to control the Web Strategy and image of the project, but it is a major cost and time-saving feature of an effective CMS implementation
