Internet Systems Consortium

The Internet Systems Consortium sought to break away from the limitations and challenges posed by their former website which was static and lacked an intuitive content structure. Along with the implementation of the Drupal CMS framework, the scope of this project required the reorganization of existing and new content based on a new hierarchy & ontology, and the development of a new User Interface theme.

iDonny Productions took the lead technical role by developing a content management system within the Drupal framework based on the content hierarchy. The content hierarchy was conceived by triangulating the staff and audience experience feature requirements with the structure of the ISC content. The UI/User Interface was developed based on a graphic designer's visual representation combined with an intuitive and logical navigation structure.

Combining the well planned and implemented UI and content structure with matching staff and audience features resulted in an efficient and useful website that meets the needs of ISC and it's customers. Potential customers and information-seekers can not only research topics of interest and collaborate in improving the available solutions. ISC staff are concentrating more in developing solutions for their customers, and less on the processes and workflow of publishing and maintaining the functions of their website.
